A BILL
To allow contraceptives to be more accessible.
1 Be it enacted by the Members of the YLI Congress
2of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 3SECTION 1. TITLE.
4This Act may be cited as the “Contraceptive Accommodations to Reduce Pregnancy
5Emergencies Act (CARPE) of 2008” 6SECTION 2. PURPOSES.
7(1) To ensure that prescription birth control is covered equally, in all 50 states,
8(2) To reduce the need for abortion operations
9(3) To able all women to equally obtain contraceptives 10SECTION 3. FINDINGS.
11 The Equity in Prescription Insurance and Contraceptive Coverage Act serves to end
12discrimination associated with health-care 13 SECTION 4. ELIGIBILITY.
14An individual is eligible if
15(1) the individual is female
16(2) the individual is a citizen of the United States
17(3) the individual is age eighteen or above 18SECTION 5. TERMS AND BENEFITS OF SERVICE.
19(1) The individual must be of eighteen years due to legal standards;
20(2) Individuals under the age of eighteen must have parental consent;
21(3) There is no limitations, not including age, determining which female will receive
22contraception;
23(4) Pharmacists will be required under the law to distribute contraceptive products
24unconditionally;
25(5) The participant will receive a year supply of the contraceptive with every health
26insurance payment. 27SECTION 6. FUNDING.
28The funding of this plan will come from the finances donated by the Federal Government
29 to abortion agencies. 30SECTION 7. ADMINISTRATION.
31The National Health Insurance Company will administer services to the forty-eight states,
32District of Columbia Included, it had originally dealt with. The remaining two states will
33receive funding for health care from the Federal Government which was established by
34the Medicare Modernization Act of 2003. 35SECTION 8. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS:
36For purposes of carrying out this title, there are authorized to be appropriated $1.8 billion
37annually.
